Resolve Welwyn has moved

Our Welwyn service has moved

Resolve Welwyn has moved - moving in with fellow charity YMCA at their hub in Hatfield from Tuesday 1st September.

We have been operating out of Christchurch Baptist in Welwyn Garden City since last July – a temporary base that followed a short-notice departure from our long-term home at Woodhall Community Centre - and with this latest move expected to be more permanent, we are looking forward to a new home and more stability.

‘We’re really looking forward to moving to YMCA and sharing their excellent facilities,’ said our CEO Laura Hyde. ‘We’re so grateful to Christchurch for having hosted us this last year or so and I am excited about being at YMCA, and bringing our two services of Drug and Alcohol misuse support and Restart, our homelessness programme, under one roof.

‘I think it will be a really good space for those who attend our services and it will also be interesting and exciting to explore with YMCA any areas we can maybe collaborate on together,’ she added.

Guy Foxell, CEO at YMCA, agrees: "We are looking forward to working alongside Resolve at our Hatfield Hub and are excited to explore what we can achieve together in the months ahead"

We will retain the same telephone numbers and email for our Mid Herts service after the move.
